Despite what the name suggests, the new popcorn M&M’s aren’t made with actual popcorn, but instead are chocolate-covered crispy rice pieces. Think Rice Krispies, but covered in chocolate then coated in the same colorful shell you’re familiar with.

This flavor is likely called popcorn because of the crunch that will come with every bite, making it a great topping for your movie night popcorn. You could also always use it for your baking needs, either as a garnish for a cake or an added ingredient into cookie dough. I’d also be remiss to not suggest adding these chocolate-covered crunchy rice candies into Rice Krispies Treats.
